Your Safety is Our Priority
Safety Tips
At GannaGo, we work hard to keep our marketplace trustworthy. However, it's important that you take precautions to protect yourself when buying or selling. Follow these tips for a safe experience.
Meeting In Person
- Always meet in a public, well-lit location during daytime hours.
- Bring a friend or family member along, especially for high-value transactions.
- Never invite strangers to your home or go to theirs for the first meeting.
- Tell someone you trust where you're going and who you're meeting.
Payments & Transactions
- Never send money in advance to someone you haven't met — especially via bank transfer or mobile wallet.
- Inspect the item thoroughly before making any payment.
- For vehicles and property, always verify ownership documents before exchanging money.
- Be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true — they usually are.
- Prefer cash-on-delivery or meet at a bank for large sums.
Protecting Your Account
- Never share your password, OTP, or verification codes with anyone.
- Use a strong, unique password for your GannaGo account.
- Log out of shared or public devices after use.
- Be wary of phishing emails or messages claiming to be from GannaGo.
Recognising Scams
- The seller refuses to meet in person or let you inspect the item.
- You're asked to pay upfront before seeing the product.
- The price is significantly below market value with no reasonable explanation.
- The seller pressures you to act immediately or claims multiple other buyers.
- You receive suspicious links asking you to enter personal or banking information.
