At GannaGo, we are committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy marketplace for all Sri Lankans. If you have encountered a fraudulent listing, a suspicious user, or have been a victim of a scam on our platform, please report it immediately using the channels below.
How to Report Fraud
If you spot a scam or suspicious activity, contact us right away through any of the following channels. Our team will investigate and take swift action.
WhatsApp (Fastest)
Send a message to our fraud reporting line on WhatsApp for the fastest response. Include screenshots, the ad link, and a brief description of what happened.

- The URL or title of the suspicious listing.
- Screenshots of the listing or conversation with the suspected fraudster.
- The date and time of the incident.
- The seller's or buyer's contact information (phone number, name).
- A description of what happened or what looks suspicious.
- Any payment details if money was exchanged (do not share your banking passwords).
What Happens After You Report
- Our Trust & Safety team reviews every report within 24 hours.
- If the listing violates our policies, it will be removed immediately.
- The reported user's account may be suspended or permanently banned.
- We may contact you for additional information if needed.
- For serious fraud, we cooperate with Sri Lanka Police and the CID.
Protect Yourself
While we investigate, here are some immediate steps you can take:
- Stop all communication with the suspected fraudster.
- Do not send any further money or share personal information.
- Save all evidence — screenshots, messages, and transaction records.
- If you have lost money, file a report with your nearest police station.
